The Book "The Perks of Being a Wall Flower"?

Do You think it is okay for me to read...?


Im 13 and some of my friends say its really good..but some say it was a little to intinse.


So my parents want me to know before I read it...


Is is appropriate for my age?

I would reccomend reading any book.


If its too mature then you will obviously learn something from it and that is an awesome book.
Reply:This book is amazing, sadly i didn%26#039;t get the chance to read it until i was 16 but i fell in love with it.


There are some issues that could be deemed inappropriate but i think that if you are mature for your age and can understand the topics being discussed then it%26#039;s fine.


It is kind of intense but in a good way.


I%26#039;d say go for it and if you find it a little intense then take a breather and try again in a year or so :)

Reply:Well, I think that all depends on how mature you think you are. That is a truly very good book, but there is some content that probably wouldn%26#039;t suit a preteen age. At thirteen, I think you%26#039;re pretty safe. I hope you enjoy it. It%26#039;s one of those books that sticks with you
Reply:I worked at a high school where this was a choice on the summer reading list. The students liked it, but I know some parents had issues.


Since it was put on the list, I assume it was deemed appropriate for readers of your age.
